A New Start: Farnsworth Street Marketing
I’ve been putting this introduction off for awhile now because I just didn’t really know the best way to approach it. But, with the re-brand nearing completion, and the on-boarding of new clients, let’s just start the story here.
Hi, I’m Leana. I started this company in 2023 with the help of a very dear friend who helped me build Chia Creative (our former name) from the ground up. This year, due to personal reasons, she thought it was best for her to part ways with the company.
Fully in support of her decision, I needed to figure out what that meant for the company. Do I give it up? I mean we had just lost our biggest client and our inquiries were non-existent. It seemed like the easiest path was to just let it go.
But I’m not the type to let things go so easily. So what now?
“Let’s start over, let’s start fresh. Let’s create a brand that’s even more meaningful to me. Let’s go back to my roots.”
While we’ve always marketed ourselves as a company that’s driven by community and connectedness, I felt like I needed to represent that idea and feeling even better than before. Farnsworth Street is based on the home of where our family first planted their American roots. My grandparents and their children immigrated from the Philippines to a small town in the East Bay area and has been my symbol for home and family for as long as I can remember.
So, as I navigate this new brand, I keep that feeling of belonging and connection with me and in our work to make sure that this feeling is also extended to you and your community.
